Leonardi Aray, AIA NCARB

Leonardi has been involved in a broad range of architectural and urban design projects nationwide. Prior to establishing Leonardi Aray Architects, he worked for ten years for other firms in the Boston area as an Architect, Urban Designer and Project Manager. Whether is a home addition or an urban design intervention, Leonardi carefully identifies challenges and opportunities associated with every project. With a particular interest in affordable housing, Leonardi plays a key role in building consensus around housing issues among community members, developers and municipal agents. He has been a guest design critic at Northeastern University School of Architecture.
Leonardi, his wife, their little boy and baby girl live in Cambridge. They are avid bike riders, urban enthusiasts and enjoy experimenting with cuisine from around the world.

For more than 20 years, Michele has been educating clients from the early stages of design through construction. She is particularly interested in transforming existing residential structures into functional and energy efficient buildings. Michele established an independent architectural practice for the first time in Caracas, Venezuela in 1991. She then continued her work in Miami, New York City, and Boston. She co-founded WANTED, an award winning firm dedicated to projects in the public realm, and its residential branch Wanted Design Studio (WDS). Michele has been a guest critic at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and was an adjunct faculty member and lecturer at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Michele ran the Boston Marathon and the Cape Cod Marathon. She, her husband and two kids play pick-up soccer every Sunday with neighboring friends in Newton, MA. They enjoy road biking, cooking and are film fans.
