Leonardi Aray, AIA

Principal

Leonardi manages the operations and design efforts of the firm. Whether it is a home addition or an urban design intervention, Leonardi carefully identifies the challenges and opportunities associated with every project. Leonardi played key roles on a wide range of projects nationwide while working for various Boston-based firms. His project experience includes municipal and site-specific master planning initiatives, mixed-use structures, and largely multi-family housing through all phases - from design through construction administration.

While providing commercial and residential architectural services at LAA, Leonardi has been providing consulting services to various Massachusetts Municipal Affordable Housing Trusts.

Leonardi is an active member of the Boston Society of Architects, where he co-chaired the BSA Alien Architects Committee as well as its Housing Committee. He served on the "Envision Cambridge" Housing Working Group, which was tasked with preparing housing recommendations as part of the City's comprehensive master planning process. He is the current President of the Massachusetts Association of Consulting Planners. Leonardi has provided pro-bono design services to Home Free Home, an organization dedicated to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Leonardi is a certified passive house consultant.
